Is this a hen or "transgender " roo?
Hi everyone. This "hen" has been crowing lately. She doesn't have any spurs like a normal roo. Months ago there were eggs but not for at least 4. Thought it was because of cold temps. Does anyone know what this hen is?
We got her from a neighbor but they have no idea what she is. Fairly stocky, big feet - thick feet. Lay's blue eggs. (or pale green). Very sweet disposition. Gets along with my Jersey giants, polish and black laced Wyandotte bantam. Thanks!- dynomy
