    Do Silkie roosters protect baby chicks?I’ve noticed that my Silkie rooster doesn’t really seem to care much. Wierd how he doesn’t peck them like he did to the ones that were two months old. Even when I’m not around I still keep a close eye just in case but so far he doesn’t seem to mine them.

    Are baby chicks silkies? They’re not as fluffy as the previous I purchased from purely poultry. I just got them from a breeder and I feel like one of the chicks doesn’t look like a Silkie by looking at the wings.
