    these are my birthday gift from hubs last May. the top pic is from last fall... the bottom is them decimating my flower bed this spring. I have babies in the incubator from them going on lockdown tomorrow :D i love my chicks!

    Got a free rooster yesterday, HUGE 16 week Cornish X ... Butcher time?

    New Chicken Lady here!

    Just started my adventure with chickens in May when hubs bought me a brooder coop and my dream of 6 chicks became a flock of 20!! I have 15 RIR and 5 banties. My little coop quickly became too small...so a huge coop was ordered! We live in northern Mn so i have lots to learn about winter coop...
