    What do you call a cockerel???

    Ok so, bit of a language difference, in the UK we call girls up to a year old pullets, then hens after a year and boys are cockerels up to a year then cocks, but you call the boys roosters so what do you call a young rooster, the equivalent to our cockerel, or is it still just a rooster???
