Why do these eggs look this way?
Hello-experience backyarders-could you look at these eggs and tell me what may be wrong or missing? We have 4 hens, that are almost 3 years old (1 buff orp, one Easter Egger (she lays pale blue/green), 1 golden comet, 1 RI red. I believe it’s one of the latter 2. When should we start eating our first eggs?
5 chickens in our coop, all between 17-18 weeks. Found first eggs yesterday! I believe that two are from golden comets and not sure about the other 2 thin shelled. We also have 1 Americauna, 1 RIR, 1 Buff Orpington. Sounds weird but when is it "safe" to eat any of these new eggs? In my...- Jhomicz
