    This little lady is supposed to be a black sex link, but I'm not sure. She kinda looks like an australorp to me, and I think she might have a pea comb. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Hello from southern Utah!

    Hello! I'm a newbie to the chicken raising life. I do have a 1 year old Australorp hen I raised from 4 weeks ( luckily she survived my inexperience!) And now I have two 1 week old chicks, 1 black sex link and one buff orpington. Slightly obsessed with chickens now hahaha

    Heating advice for 6 day old chicks

    I have two chicks in a brooder with a infared heat lamp and no matter what I do the chicks are too hot! I live in Moab and it gets really hot here, so I've been turning off the heat lamp and setting them in the sun during the day with access to shade, with heat lamp on at night. Will they be ok...
