    Early season McMurray chicks dying

    I have received my new flock yesterday and so far around 5 chicks have died out of 36. ..they just get really lethargic and sleepy looking and just fall over after about 12 hours. Don't know if it is fairly normal or the bad weather and cold coming from the hatchery. ..dono... any suggestions...

    Neating boxes or should I say buckets...haha

    Anyone using 5 gal buckets for nesting boxes ? Like the " just do it " buckets from home Depot. ..saw some people using them.. anyone have any experience with them. .if they do well ? Thanks
