    Silkie mix

    So I just had 2 silkie/ red Rhode Island mixes hatch. Mom was the silkie. So my question is, what will it look like? They have the 5 toes and feathered feet. They are smaller. They do not have the blackish skin or turquoise face that the mama had. Any ideas?

    Weird blue on newly hatched chick

    So one of our chicks just hatched. It has a turquoise bluish marking on its bottom. Any ideas what it is from? Has anyone seen this before?
