I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct area because I don't know if my chicken is sick or not.
Breed: Brown Silkie
Age: about 9 months Old
Laying: Great layer - about an egg a day
Behavior: just fine and fiestier then ever
Poop: too large to describe and healthy
Bedding: pine shavings...
....when they beg you to give them their nightly chicken massage. And, each one likes it a little bit different - and you know who likes what. (a belly rub for one, a neck massage for the other....too many chickens and not enough hands!)
I have (almost) 6 month old pullet Bantams. They are not laying yet, but I think they should be any day now? (right?)
I just ran out of Pullet (chick, pre-laying) feed for them. Should/can I start giving them Layer Feed, even though they haven't officially started laying? Or should I go get...
