I have a couple of polish chicks that I have no idea what colors they are. One is a blueish and the other is a darker black with brown coming on the wings. Any ideas?
I have a first time broody that has been sitting on 6 infertile eggs for two weeks.
I swapped her eggs for 7 fertile eggs yesterday afternoon (due to hatch Wednesday). I’ve been checking on her on and off yesterday and today she seems to keep a few eggs partially uncovered. I keep pushing them...
First time hatching chicks!
I’m on day 19 on a clutch of 8 seramas being hatched out by a first time broody. I have to take her off the nest 3 times a day to eat and poop as she refuses to leave her eggs. When doing the second check this afternoon I noticed a tiny pip hole and got excited. I...
I have 8 EEs, two I’m certain are roosters and then I have one questionable white one. Below is the bird in question, I also provided a link to a quick clip of the flock…how many roosters do you see in the video? I’m hoping it’s only the two!
ps- don’t mind the bantams. :)
I’m a long time chicken owner but never had a pet turkey so I’m hoping for some advice.
Currently I have 6 Bantams in a 12x12 7 ft tall covered run with an attached 4x8 coop(that they only lay eggs in, they prefer to sleep in the rafters in their run).
I’m getting 4 straight run Narraganset...

I have 4 under 1 year old laying bantam hens that need a new home. They are my best looking birds but they bully my other 6 bantams, would do best in a mixed flock of standard chickens. One or more is mounting my bantam RI reds and they are now bareback.
2...
I have a small bantam flock of pullets that have decided to no longer go in the coop at night.
They have a 12x14 8 ft tall run and a 4x8 coop for reference.
In the summer I started leaving the coop door open for more airflow even though there are open windows and plenty of ventilation. They...
I have 2 golden laced sebrights and one is crowing. They are about a month or so away from being at the point of lay. I’ve caught one of them
In the act so I know it’s one of them just can’t remember which one. They both look the same, one is a bit larger and I’m sure they are pullets. Just...
I think they are RIR, got them in the bantam bin at TSC. I think they are pullets as I’ve already rehomed their brother that was clearly a cockerel 3 weeks ago. The only thing that’s throwing me off is their little tail feather curls, they both have them.
there are 2 chicks and they are approx...
There’s a link to a video of my coop, I Keep hearing this bizarre noise every morning. Is this a young too trying to crow!? I swear I only have pullets at the moment. Will post pics of all pullets...
I posted over a week ago I believe and a few people commented that this looked like a roo which I thought so as well only his hatch mates had waddles and a red face weeks ago when I rehomed them. “He” looks like a he but no redness or waddles. I have an opportunity to rehome him this weekend...
I know this is a girl, got 3 at TSC and 2 had
Bright red flat combs that I have already rehomed. But what kind of breed is she? She’s soooooo flighty hard to get a picture of her.
I have a what I’m assuming is a Cochin from TSC, a buff brama from A local breeder and a d’uccle from a local breeder that I’d like your opinion on! I think the Cochin is definitely a roo but the other two I’m not sure. Cochin is about 8-9weeks old and the other two are roughly a month older...
This is my 8 week old bantam polish that I thought was a pullet but the waddles growing are saying otherwise. I’ve had many polish in the past and by the look of her head feathers it looks pullet to me. So I’m confused....any thoughts?
Since you guys were so helpful and nice I thought I’d show you my last two questionables. I think they are Cochins, one frizzled. I’m sure they are boys but want a second opinion. Don’t some breeds have come development at this age even if a pullet? This is why I get so confused!
Many thanks...
I have a salmon faverolle, mottled Cochins, old English game, and a golden sebright. All cockerels, would like to place them rather then culling all of them. I have about 7 in total.
