    Muriate of Potash safe for chickens?

    We just noticed a leghorn eating some muriate of potash fertilizer that was spread around our potato crop. She appeared to spit it out, but just wondering if this is safe for our girls? We'll be putting up a fence shortly.

    Chicken sore throat? Weird sounding chicken...

    Chicken froze into the snow

    We noticed one of our Aracauna's acting aloof and refusing to come out of the coop like the others on a sunny 30 degree day. When we picked her up, we saw her entire underside is plucked clean and there is a bubble on one foot. We aren't exactly sure how this happened, but think she was missed...
