I am new to breeding and hatching and was wondering about inbreeding.I would assume that as in with other animals that it is not a good idea?I have a couple of new runs of pullets and wondering do I need to bring in another rooster?
I think this guy needs a pedicure! Can anyone tell me how to trim these and how brutal this is going to be?He is a pretty big bird.I would think they need trimmed right? He is never around children and not aggressive towards me or the wife but wonder if need trimmed for his sake.
I was out working in the pens and noticed one of my hens out in the yard running around with something in her mouth so I went to see and this is what I got from her.A baby rabbit!
Just joined a few days ago because there is some serious bird info here.My operation is small,25 chickens and 24 A&M quail I hatched out a little over a week ago.Great info from everyone here and hopefully I may have something to contribute in days to come.
