    Ducks in the garden

    Does anyone use ducks as pest control in their veggie garden? I have a sow/pill bug and slug problem. I'm hoping the ducks can run in the garden and eat bugs for me. I have raised beds in 1/2 the garden and a traditional garden in the other 1/2. Pros? Cons? Potential problems?

    We've had bad luck this year :(

    Just venting I guess. We've purchased 6 baby turkeys this year. 2 each, in 3 separate batches. We have lost 4 of them. 1 to a skunk, 1 to a bear, 1 to a hawk and 1 to a blue jay. After each attack, we fix the issues around it, but the predators are having a good year this year, I guess. Out of...

    Female, purchased from TSC in Oregon on March 1st. Any guess as to breed? TSC just said "assorted ducklings"

    Excited! Got some duck hatching eggs

    Hello from Oregon!

    Hi everyone! I just got back into chickens a couple months ago. We had chickens growing up, but these are my first as an adult. I have 7, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 3 Black Australorps, and 2 Easter Eggers. My daughter and I are enjoying them very much :)
