    No eggs yet!

    I've had my chickens for 2 weeks as of tomorrow, and still no eggs! They were suppose to be point of lay when i bought them, but i guess they might have been *almost* at POL when i got them, and they just need a few weeks? I'm not sure exactly how old they are, i just hope they start laying...

    Not sure if i made the right choice.

    I have wanted chickens for ages. And now i have them... Sigh. I am surprised at myself for my reaction. They kind of gross me out. Not the chickens as such (though i can't bring myself to hold one), but the thought of the vermin they will no doubt attract. We live on a regular size...

    Here's my coop we put in this roosting perch, but i think it's too low? They don't seem to like it and choose to sleep all piled on top of each other in a corner? nesting area Does it matter that it's not off the ground? four out of five of my girls in one of there favourite spots...
