Hi,
I've just hatched a call duck that was meant to be pure white, but that is definitely not the case...does anyone know what colour/pattern this baby will be?
I'm totally new to all this so haven't a clue lol.
I have 2 call duck eggs incubating and just entering day 27, they are still moving but none have internally pipped yet.
One little guy has been pushing on the membrane for at least 2 days but the air cell seems to be quite floppy if that's the right way to describe it...any advice please?
I have 3 out of 4 eggs that have hatched, the 4th has sadly died in the shell, the last one hatched about an hour ago....my question is, do i now need to removed all water from the incubator to allow them to dry off properly?
My first baby hatched a few hours ago but is still attached to the shell by what i think is the umbilicus, the poor little thing is just layed there sleepy and occasionally tries to free itself...what can i do to help please?
I'm scared we're going to lose this baby, it seems very weak :(

On day 19 i removed the water completely and have been misting them and the humidity is down to around 30%, although they have grown a little bit they are still nowhere as...
Hi, i'm currently incubating duck eggs for the first time, we're now on day 22 and up to yet everything has run smooth.
This morning i candled the eggs and noticed one embyo wasn't moving so i waited a while and candled again...nothing!
I then popped into into a glass of water and again it was...
