    Adding to the flock

    I have a flock of 11 pulleys, different breeds and one rooster. All approximately 5 months old just beginning to lay. I have a friend who wants to give me 4, 3 year old layers. Would it be safe to add these hens to my flock? Thank you in advance for any input.
