Hi - just looking for some advice. I just had my first chick hatch threee days early. I have a Janoel24. Do I open the hole at the top to let the chick breathe even though I am trying to keep the humidity right up?

I am up to day 15 of my first attempt to hatch chickens. On Day 18 advice has been to place water logged sponges in the bottom of the hatcher in order to get the humidity up? Other than that I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping everything goes ok! Any tips would be welcomed.
