mixing different age poults
I have three poults from different hatches that I would eventually like to pen together. But they peck at each other (eyes) pretty hard. What age would it be safe to mix them? The oldest is 3 weeks. -

no shell on egg
I have a blue slate hen that has been laying for about a month. Today when I went to feed them, I found two eggs without shells. Does anyone know what causes this? Is it feed related? She gets layer, scratch and greens. Thanks, Donna
