    I have found one I really like on ebay for about $350 that will house about 6-8 hens. Anyone have experience with pre-fab coops, how they go together, are they sturdy?

    I'm thinking I should clip the feathers around my hens wounds/injuries? Is this safe? What is the best way to do this? Any suggestions, information greatly appreciated as I am very new to all this, but I have fallen in love with my hens!

    Good afternoon, I'm lisa and I'm new here! Two days ago my kids and their friends found a chicken wandering in our neighborhood. She was injured, as if some animal had gotten a hold of her. They went around to our neighbors whom we know have chickens, but they all denied that she was theirs...
