I have a bound chicken. I have given her calcium pills and soaked her in epsom salt baths and keeping her separate from the others. She doesn’t show any signs of distress she drink and eats but I want to help her pass this any other tips?
It’s 7 to 8 weeks old it looks like the rest of them with color and tail but it’s larger than the rest and more red and pink in comb and it’s chirp deepened . Is it a hen and just developing quicker or do I need to be worried it might be a rooster?
My month old chicks are doing a lot of twitching their heads and digging in their feathers and was wondering if I should be worried or what they are doing is normal?? Heard things about black flies and have me worried about my girls cause they are now just going outside and don’t want anything...
My chicks are about 3 weeks old and they have feared me ever since I took care of their pasty butts. I can never get ahold of one of the chickens to give them attention and to hold them once in awhile. Any ideas of ways to get them to warm up to me again?
My almost three week old chick seems to have diarrhea? Any idea of what is going on? Starting to get worried this is my first patch of chickens I have had
When I got this patch of chicks at 1 week old they all looked the same and then in the next week I had this one that doubled in size and had a lot of white on it. They are a barred rock but I can’t have a rooster and I want to make sure it is a roo and not a hen before I end up giving him up.
