well just at 19 weeks I got my first egg.. it was small but not deformed and Pipet laid it in the nesting box. Can’t wait for more. Oh I have 5 beautiful buff Orpington’s
I have five 3 week old buffs and one started sneezing yesterday and it it still there today. Do I just watch her for a bit or do I need tobtake action right away (oh it’s my favorite out of all the girls she flies to me when I call her already)
Ok my two week old chicks can now fly out of the 24” brooder but they love to be out I let them out daily in there coop weather permitting the problem is I can’t have them getting out of the brooder do to three cats but the coop is empty and if I keep them in the house I think that’s the better...
How many nesting boxes should be adequate for five Hens? My current coop has 2. I ordered 4 hens but got a fifth. Looks like they are all going to make it. So wonder if I should add another neseting box to the coop?
I got my first set of chicks which I set up in my garage do to cats. Do they need light available all the time or is it ok to turn out the lights when I go to bed? They have a ceramic heat bulb that keeps the floor temp around 80 Degrees. I also got five chicks which all seem to be doing great...
