    Do chickens cough?

    My 2 yr. old rooster lives in Trinidad & has recently started making a sound that sounds like a loud hiccup. A rumbling sound precedes the "hiccup" followed by a "sigh" like sound (same sigh that comes after crowing. He seems normal otherwise. Is this normal?
