This is not my bird, I am asking for a relative. Am I correct in guessing this is a BLRW and a cockerel? Mostly on the breed question. I know this is a cockerel. He's about 12-13 weeks old and was purchased from either TSC or Rural King.
I love learning about genetics, but I'm a newbie at them. I want to create some barnyard crosses, but before hand I want a guess at what they might look like. My only rooster is an Amberlink. I'm going to give my guess at what I think they would look like for some if them, but I want your guy's...
I have an Amberlink rooster. He looks like this.
I also have red sex links, these ones are white Plymouth Rock hens breed with a New Hampshire red roosters. Black sex links. A Rhode Island red. An Amberlink hen. A Dark Brahma. Cuckoo Marans. And Buff Brahmas.
I was wondering what these crosses...

I just had to get some late season chicks, and now I am glad I did. My buff Orpington chick is absolutely adorable!!! She follows me around and runs into my hands.
Hi I need show tips on how to handle very large breeds. I am showing brahmas and understand how heavy they are. Will be doing bantom next year but need tips for this year.
I would like to buy a batch of silkies and Cochins. I would need red cochin for red roo. The silkies could be any color as long as they are all the same color
Calico is just preferred.
My pullets are jumping at each other, fluffing up their neck feathers, and pecking each other's heads. I have noticed it most between three different pullets. Thanks and any advice on telling Brahma genders would help too.
Hi I am new and have owned only on buff Brahma ever and am having some trouble with genders. I have two "boys" and one is much smaller than the other and has got his tail feathers in before the other. Think he is still a boy but I am unsure. He is one to the right.
Sorry about photo they would...
