    Breed of roster and hen, please

    I bought 23 hens and 1 roster from a lady getting out of the chicken business. She did not know which kind, could be a mix. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks

    Howdy from Texas

    Thought I would introduce myself and my new chickens. Just bought 23 hens and 1 roster. All are older but are still laying. Husband wouldn't let me start babies in his shop, so this was the best option. Looking forward to learning lots and getting to know other chicken owners. DorothyGail
