Help!! we have 3 roosters and do not know what breeds they are. we bought some assorted chicks that included Prairie Bluebell Eggers, Welsummer, Barred Rock and Ameraucana. Swollen eye!
We ordered some chicks online about 6 weeks ago. 3 different breeds. They have been doing fine until one of the breeds (Wellsummer) eyes started swelling up. Just on one side so far. Any ideas what would cause this and how to treat it?- Chargermike14

Different colored chicks from the same hen
We have hatched 6 eggs from the same hen, we have 4 black chicks and 2 that are yellow with black stripes. Mom is all black. Is this normal?- Chargermike14
