Dear muscovy duck owners,
after several successful batches of chickens, I will try to hatch muscovy ducks.
However, I am not sure if I can put them in the automatic egg turner which only tilts the eggs 45 degrees or so. Does this work with muscovy duck eggs?
And so far a have not found anything...

my almost 4 week old chicks are fighting, as all chicks. What I observed is that some of the chicks are fighting by jumping with both feet forward, while others do not. Can I sex the chicks with this? I think only males fight with both feet forwards, is that right?

in a self-built still air incubator, the eggs at day 9 only have blood vessels on the upper part (they are of course turned 3times/day.
Is the temperature too low? Or is it normal that the egg develops only in one part of the egg first?
The thermometer may be a bit off, no way to check...
