We have 4 chickens well established in the coop and we have 11 chicks just coming in, of the 11 chicks one of them is a banton rooster and he is much smaller than the other chicks, we introduced the chicks to the coop last week, chicks were born 3/3 and they were doing very well together, but...
So I adopted 7 girls and they came with a beg of layered 16% feed and the old galvanized feeder
It has been getting cold at night...teens
So I have been feeding them a little bit of mealworms about an hour or two before they roost, I heard it was good for them, they were under a house before...
My wife had a coworker who just moved into a new house, they had 7 chickens and no room at the new house so we took their chickens, we have never had chickens before,
Any advice would be appreciated
