Help!
I have a lovely Barnvelder Hen who developed a problem yesterday in this heat wave we are having.
An egg broke inside her yesterday, and today I was able to remove the majority, except for maybe a sand sized particle.
Her crop was a little distended.
I have her on nystatin for the crop...
I needed to take my RIR Rooster to a vet the other day to have a top of foot 'bumblefoot' cleaned about and drained.
The vet said to leave the bandage on for only 2 days, and then let it continue to drain for another 8 days, and bring him in on the 10th day as followup.
All this with NO...
1.We have 1 rooster and 4 hens (4 RIRs and 1 Buff Orpington) in an 8*10 shed/coop, with a 1*6 roost (so they can sit while sleeping).
