Hello fellow chicken lovers
I have recently moved and my four leg horn hens have just been delivered to my new farmhouse. They are almost a year old. My neighbor has one rooster with seven very devoted hens that insist on free ranging in my yard. My girls are locked in a coop with a run attached...
I have 4 three month old chickens. I just tried floating garlic cloves in their water for the first Time. One of them snatched the whole clove and took off with it. The other three chasing closely behind. Is she going to be OK if she actually eats that garlic?
I have four 10 week old Leghorn chicks. I live in Texas and it stays around 90° inside the coop. I have a large shop fan that I run For them. It does not seem to bother them but it does ruffle their feathers is that going to be a problem?
I have four 6 week old leghorns. I live in Texas and am expecting a low of 73 tonight. my husband and I had to help them go in at dark but they finally did after we turned a light on for them in the coop. Should I leave that light on or turn it off.
