I noticed my 5days old Chicks are dying. I always use lantern to keep them warm, change their layers to ensure it's not damp and change their water as frequent as possible. What is killing them?

I am Edimal from Nigeria, am new here, just as a new to raising chicks. I average learnt a lot in the little time I have read threads in here. I hope to get more knowledge on the best ways to raise my chicks with no or minimal loss.
