A couple days ago we got chicks. They were pretty young, just 3-4 days and one was even younger, maybe 2 days old. We got 24 cornish cross, and 1 easter egger, 1 lavender orpington, 1 salmon faverolle, and 1 barred rock. They are maybe a week now. This morning they were okay. Eating and drinking...
I have a 2 year old easter egger who's right eye color changed about a month ago. They used to be the normal red/orange but now her right one changed to a really dark brownish black. I can't even make out her pupil. Is something wrong?
We had 35 chicks disappear last night. We noticed a hole about 2 inches in diameter in the corner of their pen and some blood on the wall going into it...

This is my 11 week old speckled sussex. Since the night we got Cricket I have been suspecting boy. He feathered in pretty slowly, especially compared to my other one, who is definately a girl. No boy behaviors other than the stink eye. Everything pointed to boy, but now at 11 weeks his comb...
