    Muscovy broody yet?!

    I have a one year old Muscovy who just finished building her nest with about 15 eggs and she goes and lays on them a little through out the day the last two days or so, but not full time like my broody hens. How do you know when they “Officially” go broody to start the 35 day timeframe for hatching?

    Muscovy hen moving eggs before going broody!

    I have a year old Muscovy hen who has layed her first dozen eggs in a clutch in the nesting box, but since she layed that 12th egg she keeps rolling several of them out of the nesting box. Is this normal for the hens to roll their eggs around before going broody?! She is protective of the eggs...
