My Muscovy hen has been trying to hatch out ducklings again after her first batch she raised at the beginning of the summer. But now she's trying to lay in a very dangerous spot and has been chasing and beating up my other muscovies. Does anyone know how to get her to stop being broody and be...
I have four muscovies for sale. Two hens and two drakes, they are around three months old. The hens are 25$ each while the drakes are 20$ each.
First up is Rio.
Next is Jane and Danny.
And finally we have Rico.
2 Muscovy drakes 3 months old. I'm located in NH looking for a good pet home for them.
Their $25 each. They are a little skittish, but show no signs of going to be aggressive. Their parents are sweethearts so I'm betting they will be too.
Here's their photos-
Here's a photo of mom and dad-
My Muscovy drake (Emmett) on his caruncles right above his bill has been yellow and gross looking. I think it's frostbite but I just wanted to see if that is what it is and if there's anything else I can do for it besides putting down way more straw. I've also been putting vasoline on it daily...
Last night when I went to put my birds to bed I went a little later then normal and came down to see a raccoon in the woods and my hen (Harriet) on the ground barely moving. Everybody else is safe and got no harm. Her on the other hand got either bit or scratched on the wing, neck, and right...
Yesterday when I went to check on my hens one (Tidley) was walking uncomfortably and looked at first like she had a tiny prolapse but when I got her to try and take care of it, it was gone. But she was really dirty back there so I decided to just since I had her up in the house to quickly clean...
I have this full 7 week old duckling drake and a few weeks ago I noticed he wasn't lifting a certain wing when he stretched. I thought it was because he got picked on by one of my other hens but now I'm not sure. Today I decided to pick him up and get a close look and the wing looks so weird...
I have this Raccoon that comes at night to swim in my muscovies kiddy pool. Well that's what it used to do at least. This night when I went to put my 3 month old chickens in the coop, it was already dark. 3 of them were on top of the baby run I have for when their to small to go with the big...
I've been unable to catch the Fisher we've been dealing with. It's flipped the crates to avoid stepping on the trigger. Stole my rooster, during the day and one night I couldn't find one of my old ladies. When stepping around the coop I could smell musk. She was fine, found her in the morning...
When candling one of my female muscovies, I saw what looked like two embryos growing. Is that even possible? It was also heavier than my other egg I'd candled that looked normal.
