I have 1 (so far) NN roo in my flock and my hubby says we only have room for Ram Rod, my amazing Naked Neck Daddy Roo.... I just need to figure out which of the two is the roo... Hate to re-home they are my first hatch and those I saved and hatched myself as the hen left her nest before time...
So I have gotten two eggs to hatch so far but the other eggs are in with them as well. what should i do now?
How should they sleep or whatever, not sure if there is some particular I need to do.
:jumpy:woot:jumpy
Sorry for the confusion, we have 2 broody hens so we decided to try to hatch some babies. Well yesterday hen in #1 box had a egg hatch. Well that made hen in #2 box go get in #1 box where the baby was.
They did lay in there own box last night but I do not think they have been back since 10 am ...
As you know from other post. My wyandotte is hatching chicks today. My issue is there is another Hen in the coop with her and her eggs haven't started to hatch yet.?????
But now they are both in the box with the babies... Is that ok??
I currently have the following
A Turken Rooster
Bannie chickens
Silkies
Sapphire Olive Eggers
Amuricanas
Golden Laced Wyandotte's
AND HATCHING MORE AS I TYPE....
Okay so a while back I purchased some babies from Tractor Supply. Wouldn't you know I ended up with a Turken Rooster .... So I talked my hubby into letting me keep him and try Hatching babies. I have two broody Golden Laced Wyandotte's sitting and today I hear chirping. Don't know how...
