I have two roosters, but I just checked some of my eggs and to me they seem infertile. Maybe I’m wrong and they are fertile. It seems strange that they would be infertile even though I have 2 roosters.
I hatched the multicolored chick close to four months ago. It didn’t have tail feathers for a long time, but they are now finally growing in. Can anyone tell if it’s a hen or rooster?
I have 13 chicks that I hatched in my incubator about a week ago. Now my broody hen’s chicks are hatching. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to put all the chicks together with the mama hen. Thanks!!
We’ve figured out what most of our chickens are. We bought them from Theisens, but most aren’t what they were supposed to be. Still wondering what this guy is. Any ideas?
My husband and I incubated some duck eggs. We apparently made some mistakes because only one hatched. The one that hatched is still attached to the egg at his belly. Is this fine? What should I do? Will he be ok?!
We noticed this Dominique has some tail feathers that seem more rooster like and are black with a green sheen to them. Also, we noticed possibly the beginning of spurs. So is this a rooster? Thanks!!
We have a three goslings that were accidentally sent to us. They are about 4 weeks old. This morning when I went to let them out onto the grass one was laying there with her leg stretched out behind her. I can tell that our duck must have injured her because she is also missing some of her down...
The smaller chicks were bought at Theisen’s and we now realize they were definitely labeled wrong. I know they are still small, but can anyone tell what breed they are?
The older chickens we got at a small animal swap and the lady we bought them from wasn’t sure what they were. Thanks everyone!
We ordered meat chickens are were surprised with these little guys in the box! Can anyone tell me what breed they are? In the 1st pic they are only two days old. The middle one is darker than the other two. In the second pic it is about 2 weeks old.
We ordered meat chickens and had quite the surprise when we opened the box. Can anyone identify what breed of duck (or is it a goose) we have? The one in the middle has some darker coloring as well. Second picture is at two weeks old. Thanks!

I have two lavender Orpingtons aged about 5 and a half months. The one in front has been making lots of noise and I’m wondering if she is actually a he. I’m fairly new at raising chickens so I have no idea. Just hoping we don’t have roosters! Thanks!
