Unwell, lethargic chicken -- help, please
New to chicken raising here.... We have 3 chickens (the other two are healthy) and one, a black marin, has been acting unwell for the past week. She is about a year and a half old. She's been a dynamite layer, but she has been barely coming out of the coop (they free range during the day)...- OztheDog

Squawking chicken while the other is laying?
Hi, We have two chickens. The coop is sizeable and we generally give them run of the yard in the daytime, and they are generally inseparable. Problem is, when one (Magdelena) is in the coop laying an egg in the morning, the other (Pork) runs around squawking her head off. Seeing as backyard...- OztheDog
