Got my fuzzy butts this morning 03/31/2011
I got the call from the post office @ 8:00 am and had them in my hands by 8:10. Schlecht Hatchery out of Iowa is awsome. Order arived with NOT even 1 loss. The chicks were all very healthy and active. Brought them home and dipped their beaks in water and most went back to drinking. Spread...- ajacskr

Can hens predict the weather?
I have noticed that a couple of days before a cold snap or a snow (way too many of them this year), my girls seem to hold their eggs. I have somewhere around 150 chickes (ages from 4 weeks to Scruffy, we have no ideal how old she is, but we keep her because she is very good at taking one day...- ajacskr
