    Fertile Egg or Not?

    So today, I candled my one of my 10 day old eggs. It didn't look fertile so I cracked it open. When I cracked it, I saw the little white spot that showed it was fertile. Could my egg have hatched?

    Is my duck egg fertile?

    It's day 10 and I'm not sure if my mallard duck egg is fertile. I think I see the embryo (its hard to tell in the photos) and maybe some veins.
