Hawk Tried to Get My Chickens Today . . . now what?
Today I was gardening with my chickens free-ranging right around me. I noticed they all got agitated and turned to see a hawk dive for them. Fortunately I was able to scare it and all it got was a mouthful of feathers. Do I need to worry that this hawk will now continue to look for them...- Evershane

Chickens with pale combs
Hi! I have 17 week old Golden Sex Link hens. One has a very red comb and wattles, the other 5 do not. Does this mean one is just more mature than the others and may be the first to start laying or is there something wrong with the other 5 chickens?
