Hello! I'm reposting this with some new pictures! I purchased this Easter Egger (americana) as a pullet from a farm store. She is 6 weeks old. "Her" comb is looking a little red to me for 6 weeks old. Please let me know what you think the sex is! Thank you for your help!!
This Americana (Easter Egger) was purchased as a pullet, but her comb is looking kind of red to me in comparison to my other pullets. What are your thoughts/guesses, pullet or cockerel?
We got 8 Americana pullets from a local farm store. They are 10 weeks old. Two of them, pictured below have MUCH redder combs than the other six. Are these ones actually Roos? Or is it just that because americanas are mixed breeds they can have different comb development?
