    8 week old with dislocated hip (I think)

    We came home yesterday to find one of our chicks unable to use her leg. I'm no vet but it seems dislocated. It hangs limply though she can lift it to hop and tries to bear weight on it. Wondering if a trip to the bird vet would be worth it. She doesn't seem to be in pain but she can't keep up...

    5-6 weeks - need gender help!

    Buffalo and Joey are Speckled Sussex. Underbridge is a Barred Rock. and Minnie Pearl and Effie Mae are Buff Orpingtons. We got them 5 weeks ago and they were all between 1-5 days old. Any guesses? Thanks in advance! Katherine (1st time chick mom and coop building supervisor)
