    Incorporating silkies

    How does everyone incorporate silkies into your coop with larger birds? Would having a separate sleeping area be idea? Like a hutch or something? Will they use the same nesting boxes as the bigger birds?

    Mixed flock

    I’ve got two silver laced, two golden laced Wyandotte’s. What other chicken breeds should incorporate to the flock well as Wyandotte’s are known to be bossy with other birds. I dream of silkies but have a feeling it would be a bad choice. thanks!!

    Vaccinated or not?

    I purchased some chicks from stock and field who get their chicks from townline hatchery. The guy at the store said they’re vaccinated. I don’t know if I believe him, from what I’ve seen most stores sell unvaccinated chicks. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks!
