We moved our six baby chicks out to coop permently yesterday. They are six weeks old. Seem to be doing ok. Not roosting on perch though. Slept on ground in a ball. They did this in brooder too. It was 68 last night. Probably just nervous first night out. They are eating out of big hanging box...

Connect coop to run ideas. We got a dog pen to let chickens run in. Want to keep it a few feet away from the coop to be able to get to egg box. Any ideas of best way to connect. There is a hatch opening that can be seen in pic. We are newbies to chickens... Thanks.. Wellbie
