    Laying slowed down on grower feed

    Last week, In preparation for integrating my 4- 1 year old layers to the three -7 week old chicks I switched from a layer pellet to a grower crumble and free choice oyster shells. Since then egg production had dropped from 3-4 each day down to 2\day. Thoughts? Food label pictured.

    I just bought these birds last night from a backyard breeder. My husband said they had maybe 40 birds in 2 smallish pens that they were raising and selling.
