Got my BO chick at 4 weeks now, hoping it’s a hen but not sure? Got images but has got a big tail and feature wings are full length which could contribute more to a hen?

So got a chick that’s a week old and just put it with its mum in a larger enclosure and since being outside in rather cold temperatures of 17 degrees Celsius I haven’t seen it go under the hen once for warmth when checking several times this morning and is now lying down next to the hen resting...
Had 1 chick hatch when away and just wanted to know at day 6 now with the chicks comb showing as seen in pics if it’s a hen or rooster as hoping it’s a hen but wondering if at day 6 it’s normal for comb to show?
Just went to check my BO as she’s expecting chicks next week after sitting on them for two weeks, and unfortunately found one of the 4 eggs which all are growing inside cracked and a dead chick inside :(
