    Runny white poop

    Heat stroke?

    Is heat stroke a thing with chickens? My well meaning family put my 'baby flock' (4 Australorps and 4 Orpingtons about 11 weeks old) out in their portable run this morning....didn't notice the weather and when I got back from my errands found them panting in the baking sun! I moved them...

    Greetings from South Africa!

    Proudly 'owned' by 18 chickens, love having them free range in our garden! I have Lohmanns, Buff Orpingtons and Black Australops....all great layers ! Eggs help to feed my family and we also give away to anyone in our neighborhood in need.

    Slipped tendon in 10 day old chick!

    Was fine for the first week, then displayed spraddle leg which worsened to swollen hock and foot facing backwards! Have tried everything ...hobbles, splint and tape wrapping on hock ,plus 36 hours in a chick chair...no difference! Am desperate..... any suggestions ?
