    Is it too late to have a brooding hen?

    Since I am about 5 months into raising chickens, I was unprepared when I found one of my banty hens brooding. She just began laying about 3 months ago and is currently setting on 2 of her eggs and 2 americauna eggs. Is it too late for the little things to survive the cold? I live in Southwest MO.
