These all hatched in mid-to-late November with a friend.
None of them are laying, yet, and I'm beginning to wonder if they aren't because they are all roosters. They are not crowing, but I have 2 roosters that are crowing, so perhaps they are just being drowned out. <By the way...
I have two roosters, and while I will eat them if need be,I thought I would check and see if anyone around the D/FW area wanted them.
They are beautiful and friendly enough, for roosters, but my neighbors have started asking how much longer they will be around. I think that's a sign.

Earlier this fall, I was trying to work out if I had roosters or hens and someone sent me to a cartoon of how to measure the distance between bones on a chicken's vent to determine if it was laying or not. I'd like to share that with a friend and CAN NOT find it. Help, please!

Hello, I have two darling bantam young roosters which I can't keep in the D/FW suburbs. Anyone need some cute roosters? (normally, I'd just eat them, but they are so small...) Thanks!
