My Buff Cochin had been acting weird on March first. I had noticed she had been laying around, puffed up and clucking like she had to lay a egg. I brought her inside gave her a warm bath and the next day a egg. That egg had a bit of blood but i figured it was due to being egg bound.

As there isnt a lot of information about Russian Orloffs x any breed i thought that i would do a follow along of mine.

Any ideas on pullet or cockerel? I always second guess what im thinking.
Yesterday i noticed my 2 year old Buff Orpington was on the roost all day. I took her down made sure she ate and drank. She went right back to the roost. Her crop was empty and i didnt feel a egg.
Again today she is on the roost again.
I have a 13 week old bantam cochin who started squatting this week. She is tiny. And i think its to early for her to lay even at 15 weeks.
So im wondering when did your bantam cochins start laying?
