    Constipated/ egg bound hen?

    Yesterday my hen was displaying some odd behavior while she was trying to lay her egg. She started panting & when she was getting the egg out of her system, she tilted her body upwards (I'll try to get a picture later to show you what I mean if she does it again, I'm not sure how to explain it)...

    Waterer reccomendations?

    Anybody have reccomendations of good waterers that are easy to clean, and my hens can't spill? I can never find any good ones in stores that aren't way too big & I only have two hens, so we don't need a huge one.

    Hi peeps! (Pun intended)

    Hi y'all! I live in BC & I'm the proud owner of two hens (one ayam cemani & one silver bielefelder) I've looked to this site for advice before and it never disappoints. I'm hopefully going to expand my flock, and possibly try breeding and/or egg hatching in the future :)
